Ezri Konsa’s second-half header ensured Aston Villa started their 2020/21 Premier League season with all three points courtesy of a 1-0 victory over 10-man Sheffield United.

The defender nodded home just after the hour mark to settle an eventful encounter, which also saw Blades captain John Egan sent off after 12 minutes while Villa debutant Emi Martinez saved a first-half penalty from John Lundstram.
