Aston Villa Under-23s were pegged back in injury-time as Burnley held them to a draw in their Premier League 2 clash on Monday afternoon.
Jaden Philogene-Bidace lobbed the ‘keeper superbly to give Villa the lead after ten minutes before the home side hit back just before half-time.
Tom Heaton played an hour on his return from injury, making way before Aaron Ramsey made it 2-1 after 75 minutes.
And just as Villa looked to be headed for three points, Joel Mumbongo scrambled home from close range to equalise for the Clarets.

Villa were the early aggressors in Lancashire, and only a goalline block denied Carney Chukwuemeka the opener after three minutes.
But Mark Delaney’s side didn’t have to wait long to find the breakthrough, with Philogene-Bidace expertly capitalising on an error from the Burnley ‘keeper.
Sweeping behind his defence, the goalkeeper scuffed his clearance to the winger, who judged his lobbed finish perfectly from 35 yards out.
Playing for the first time since New Year’s Day when he sustained a knee injury against Burnley, Heaton’s quick distribution helped to create a big chance for Tyreik Wright.
Louie Barry collected a long throw and drove at the defence before feeding Wright, who was in space on the right-hand side of the box but he could only fire straight at the ‘keeper.
That miss proved costly as the hosts struck back on the stroke of half-time.
A driving run from Bobby Thomas ended in the centre-back crossing to the back post, where a Burnley trialist poked the ball home at the second attempt.

Having dominated the first half, Villa were pinned back at the start of the second period and had to soak up plenty of pressure.
However, that all changed after 75 minutes as Philogene-Bidace beat the offside trap, broke into the penalty box and squared the ball for Ramsey to tuck home.
Kaine Kesler had replaced Wright early in the second half and he had a superb chance to wrap up the win with eight minutes left.
Ramsey played him in with a superb through ball, but his chipped finish was easily caught by the keeper.
And with the game in injury-time, Villa’s failure to clear a corner led to Mumbongo scrambling the ball home.
