Gemma Davies was left disappointed by Aston Villa's 'poor decision-making' in their 1-0 Second City derby defeat to Birmingham City.

Claudia Walker scored the only goal of the game on Saturday, as the Blues took all three points despite seeing the hosts control large parts the play.

Davies, speaking to VillaTV after the game, expressed her frustration in seeing another game slip away:

"For 90 minutes, I can’t question the team’s work rate.

"They ran themselves into the ground.

"We just weren’t good enough.

"It was a poor game of football from both sides.

"Poor decision making in key areas let us down.

"I’m frustrated, I’m disappointed."
