Aston Villa will be proudly supporting Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign across match rounds from December 5-13.

With the postponement of last Friday’s home Premier League fixture against Newcastle United at Villa Park, the club will show our support in the men’s match away to Wolves on Saturday (ko 12.30pm).

Aston Villa Women displayed their backing for the campaign when they faced Manchester United Women at home in the WSL last weekend.

Fixtures within the Rainbow Laces period will feature campaign-specific matchday inventory, with Villa players also wearing bespoke Kappa warm-up t-shirts. You can buy yours now, click here.

Stonewall training will also be delivered across the Academy and Foundation, including a session on ‘challenging homophobic, biphobic and transphobic language’.

Aston Villa celebrates the diversity of our club and fanbase and is proud to once again support Rainbow Laces as part of All In, our equality, diversity and inclusion initiative.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone connected to the Club. Let’s work together to ensure everyone is #PartOfThePride.

The Premier League this week reinforced its commitment to promoting equality and diversity by agreeing a new two-year strategic partnership with lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT+) charity Stonewall.

The next phase of the partnership builds on the positive work the Premier League has carried out alongside Stonewall since 2017 to set the benchmark for LGBT+ inclusivity in sport.

The Premier League and its clubs work together to promote diversity and inclusion across all areas of the game, creating safe and welcoming environments for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

You can show your support by welcoming all fans and spreading Villa’s ‘All In’ message.
