Douglas Luiz struck the opener for the away side before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pegged them back.
Jacob Ramsey got his name on the scoresheet to put Villa back in front before Arsenal’s talisman equalised again, this time from the penalty spot.
But Villa weren’t to be denied and they took the win thanks to Ramsey’s second goal of the game.
