Caro Siems says joining Aston Villa is "amazing" after completing her move to the club from 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in Germany.
The versatile full-back, 21, has spoken of her excitement at moving to a new country having sealed her switch to the midlands.
“It’s amazing being part of the pride, really!" she said.
“I’m really, really excited to be able to join this adventure and to be able to play in another country at my age.
“I’m very pleased to join such an exciting team.”
Despite representing Germany at youth level since the age of 14, Siems is still eager to learn from the more experienced players in the squad; particularly a couple of recent additions…
“It’s amazing” said Siems on the shaping-up of the squad.
“All the other signings are big names, so I’m proud to be part of that.
“Anita Asante and Lisa Weiss are obviously very experienced, and I’m very happy about that.”
