Aston Villa are stepping up training preparations for Thursday’s Premier League encounter against Manchester United.
Head coach Dean Smith and his staff are busy putting Villa’s players through their paces at Bodymoor Heath ahead of the clash at Villa Park (ko 8.15pm).
Villa claimed a 2-2 draw against United at Old Trafford in early December and will be aiming to pick up a positive result this week in their bid to climb up the top-flight table and away from danger.
