The manager has made five changes for the Premier League clash as he looks to mastermind victory against the champions.
Matt Targett is ruled out through injury and is replaced in the starting line-up by Neil Taylor.
Ally Samatta, Conor Hourihane, Marvelous Nakamba and Orjan Nyland also drop out of the starting XI.
Pepe Reina takes his place in goal while John McGinn, Trezeguet and Anwar El Ghazi also come into the team.
