Season ticket reimbursement FAQs
Q. How will the value of my gift voucher be calculated?
A. The voucher will be a pro-rata refund based on the value of the season ticket and the six games remaining. For example, if the season ticket was purchased for £615, the individual match value is £32.36. This supporter would then be entitled to a voucher with the value of £194.16.
Q. When will I receive my gift voucher?
A. Gift vouchers will be sent by email to the season ticket holder within 90 days following June 14. Therefore, please ensure that your email is up to date at tickets.avfc.co.uk. Please check your junk folder throughout this period, and make sure to mark us a safe sender if your gift voucher arrives there.
Q. What can my gift voucher be redeemed against? Can I use the voucher in the Club shop?
A. The voucher may be redeemed against a season ticket, stadium tour or individual home league tickets only. The voucher cannot be used to make purchases from the Villa Store.
Q. Is there an expiry date for my gift voucher?
A. The expiry date is currently to be confirmed, but will be reflective of when crowds can safely return to football matches.
Q. My season ticket was purchased for me as a gift from a family member or friend. Who will receive the voucher?
A. The gift voucher will be sent to the purchaser of the season ticket, rather than the fan assigned to the season ticket.
Q. What do I do if I have not any details regarding my season ticket reimbursement?
A. If you have not received details of your pro-rata rebate by June 10, 2020, please contact the Ticket Office on 0333 323 1874 and speak with one of our Ticketing Team.
Q. Can I have a monetary refund?
A. Yes - by completing the online monetary refund request form at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FHNCXCM before June 14, 2020, a refund will be made back to the card that was originally used to pay for the season ticket within 90 days.
Q. If I am not renewing, how long do I have to claim a monetary refund?
A. Supporters will have until June 14, 2020 to return the request for a monetary refund. If a supporter does not contact the Club by this date, then they will receive a gift voucher.
Q. I want a monetary refund but someone else bought my ticket. Can I still get a monetary refund?
A. A monetary refund will be credited back to the original purchaser of the season ticket.
Q. I paid cash for my season ticket. How do I get a cash refund?
A. Cash refunds are only available to supporters who paid cash originally. Unfortunately, the Club is unable to process cash refunds currently. If you choose this option, a cash refund may be made once the Ticket Office at Villa Village has reopened for personal callers. We cannot currently confirm when this will be. Therefore, you may wish to consider the option of a gift voucher.
Q. Can multiple vouchers be redeemed in the same transaction?
A. Yes – supporters can use more than one voucher to pay for a transaction.
Q. Can gift vouchers be redeemed in part and used in one or more transactions?
A. A single voucher can be split across several transactions or used as part of a payment.
Q. I have purchased additional match tickets for other supporters. How will these be refunded?
A. Your refunds will be automatically processed if you paid online or over the phone. Otherwise, you will need to get in touch with one of our Ticketing Team on 0333 323 1874 or email ticketsales@avfc.co.uk to arrange your refund.
Q. Can my season ticket be reimbursed directly to my Pride Rewards eCash?
A. Season tickets cannot be reimbursed as eCash – your only options are a monetary refund or a gift voucher.
Q. I have an Aston Villa Women season ticket/seasonal car park pass/Bar 1874 membership. What are my options?
A. We are currently in the process of formulating a solution to the above groups of supporters. We will update those affected with the relevant information as soon as we have confirmed all the details.
Hospitality seasonal membership reimbursement FAQs
Q. How will the value of my credit/ refund or gift voucher be calculated?
A. It will be a pro-rata refund based on the value of the seasonal hospitality membership including past played fixtures and the six games remaining. For example, if the membership was purchased for £6,100 (plus vat, per person), the individual match value is £290.48 (plus vat, per person) based on the membership including a total of 21 fixtures. You would then be entitled to a credit/ refund or voucher of this individual match value amount multiplied by six for the six remaining unattended home games which gives the value of £1742.88 plus vat, per person.
Q. If I do not want a hospitality credit, how long do I have to claim a monetary refund or ticketing gift voucher?
A. Members will have until June 14, 2020 to get in touch to claim a monetary refund or ticketing gift voucher instead of the hospitality credit.
Q. When will I receive my credit/ refund or gift voucher?
A. Your chosen method of refund will be with you within 90 days following June 14.
Q. What can my credit be redeemed against?
A. The hospitality credit note may be redeemed against any AVFC matchday hospitality or club event arranged through the hospitality department.
Q. What can my gift voucher be redeemed against? Can I use the voucher in the Club shop?
A. The ticketing gift voucher may be redeemed against a general admission season ticket, membership or individual home league tickets only. The voucher cannot be used to make purchases from the Villa Store.

Q. How will I receive my refund?
A. If paid by card the refund will be returned to the same card, alternatively a bank transfer will be actioned. The details must match those used to make the payment.
Q. How do I use my hospitality credit or ticketing gift voucher?
A. The hospitality credit note can be used when purchasing a hospitality package or event, simply mention your hospitality credit at the time of booking either over the phone or via email.
Q. Can I have a part refund and part credit?
A. No, you will be required to select one of the options for the whole booking, it will not be possible to split out across multiple refund options.
