Q] What are your first memories of kicking a football?
A] Probably in my mom's front room with my brother, smashing ornaments and getting in trouble!
We used to get little rolled up socks and kick them around.
Q] At which ground did you make your professional debut?
A] It was at home for Crewe against Millwall at Gresty Road.
I came on as a substitute and then we lost 1-0.
Q] What was the last venue where you went to watch a sporting event?
A] It was actually Villa Park for the Capital One Cup semi-final against Bradford two seasons ago.
I was cup tied and had to watch from the stands.
It was an incredible atmosphere as well.
Q] As a youngster which player did you look up to most?
A] It has got to be Paul Scholes. He was the main one. There's also Steven Gerrard too.
I've been lucky enough to play against both of them.
Q] Which current sports star do you like watching?
A] At the moment I'm watching a lot of golf, so I'd have to say Rory McIlroy.
He is doing really well at the moment. He is on fire.
Q] What was the first World Cup you remember watching?
A] France '98 was probably the first World Cup I can remember watching but before that I remember the Euros in 1996.
I went to all of the England games at Wembley with my dad and brother during Euro '96.
Q] Which sport would you love to be able to do?
A] I'd love to have a go at Gaelic football.
It just looks fun, smashing into people!
