Welcome to the Poundland Bescot Stadium – Aston Villa Women
Aston Villa Women’s current home for the 23/24 season, the Poundland Bescot Stadium is also home to Walsall FC and has been for 94 years. The ground has an all-seater capacity of 11,300 and comprises four stands: the Poundland Stand, Tile Choice Stand, Experienced Energy Solutions Stand, and B.A.T Stand.

- Make sure you have everything you need ready to enjoy the game – including your ticket, checking the weather, and planning your route! Please note, the Poundland Bescot Stadium is a cashless stadium.
- Traffic can get busy around the stadium so make sure you arrive within plenty of time. There’s loads to do around the stadium so don’t worry about being too early.
- Wrap up warm if the game is during the winter months – it can get cold in the surrounding area and your seats!
- Visit the Fan Zone area inside the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand.
- There’s food & drink options in every corner of the stadium, plus an indoor bar area underneath the Poundland Stand.
- The warm-up normally begins 45 minutes before kick-off – don’t miss the teams being put through their paces.
- Get your claret & blue gear ready to show your support in the stands.
- Take your seats at least 15 minutes before kick-off so you can enjoy the atmosphere as the crowd welcome the teams to the pitch.

You can purchase tickets for our home games in a number of ways.
You can visit our website and purchase your tickets online via tickets.avfc.co.uk.
You can call our customer service team on 0333 323 1874.
Your tickets will then be emailed to your registered email address, to be scanned as e-tickets at the game.

If you are purchasing tickets on a matchday, subject to availability, this would be from designated pay-on-the-day turnstiles which can be located at the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand.

Where can I sit?
Click here to view the stadium plan. Aston Villa Women fans are housed in the Poundland Stand and Experienced Energy Solutions Stand, with the disabled facilities in the latter, and visiting supporters seated in the B.A.T Stand. Supporters of both the home and away teams can congregrate, but please note away supporters will be able to purchase tickets through their own club to sit together.
Please note, there are a few supporting pillars in the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand which could impede your view at times.
What my ticket means
Once you have received your ticket you should have all the information you need to find you seat at the Poundland Bescot Stadium and enjoy the match!
There will be various bits of information on your ticket, including the fixture information and kick-off times.
The main details you need on a matchday are;
Your Stand – Area of the Stadium
Your Block – Specific Block within the Stand that you are situated in.
Your Row – Lettered or numbered Row within your Block
Your Seat – Your Seat number within your Row
Once you have arrived and are ready to enter the stadium, make your way to your stand and block. Once you have found your entrance you will need to make your way through a turnstile to enter the stadium. Once inside the stadium, you can use the block number to find the section for your seats and check your ticket for your row and seat number. If you have any issues finding your entrance or seats, just ask a member of our stewarding team who would be happy to help.

What do I need to bring with me?
The essentials are your match ticket and comfortable clothing suitable for an outdoor environment. Don’t forget your Aston Villa shirt [you can get one from the club shop if you haven’t already]! There will be security on entrances that may ask to check your persons and any bags that you bring with you. Where possible, we advise that you avoid bringing any bags/laptops etc with you to a match.

When does the ground open?
Turnstiles usually open 60 minutes before kick-off, although this can vary so please refer to the individual fixture's Matchday Guide for specific information. We recommend that you take your seats roughly 45 minutes before kick-off which is when the players will come out onto the pitch for their warm-up. This also avoids queuing close to kick-off and gives you plenty of time to get your food & beverage.
What can I do inside the ground?
Once you’re inside the ground, you can visit the refreshment kiosks in the corners of the stadium and programmes will also be available if you haven’t picked one up from outside. There are toilets in every corner too. Don’t miss the teams coming out for their warm-up roughly 45 minutes before kick-off. Take your seats by 10 minutes before kick-off so that you don’t miss any build-up and the teams entering the pitch to a great atmosphere. Remember, once you enter the stadium you can’t leave and re-enter – so make sure you’ve soaked up all the atmosphere around the ground as well. At the Poundland Bescot Stadium, you can go to the bar underneath the Poundland Stand to enjoy a drink in an inside environment.

Where can I get any merchandise?
On selected fixtures, there will be the chance for you to purchase merchandise outside the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand. Keep an eye on our social media channels for information on this for each fixture.
Is there anything to eat and drink?
There are refreshment kiosks in every corner of the stadium, offering hot food, confectionery, drinks and a kids snack box. There is also food & drink available inside the bar underneath the Poundland Stand.
Where are the toilets?
There are toilets in each corner of the Poundland Bescot Stadium, please contact a steward if you need accessible toilets or to enter with your child.
Where can I get cash?
The Poundland Bescot Stadium is a cashless stadium.
What if I need First Aid or have any other kind of emergency?
In the case of an emergency please contact your nearest steward. St John’s Ambulance are on site for matchdays.
How do I get a message on the scoreboard or in the programme?

Family Information
What additional activities are there on a matchday?
There are various things for the whole family to enjoy in the build-up to kick-off on a matchday.
Enjoy a host of activities inside the Junior Fan Zone housed in the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand, meet our club mascot Bella too at select fixtures and pay attention to the Matchday Guide for any fan involvement activities. The players usually arrive 90 minutes before kick-off and you can cheer them into the stadium by the entrance in front of the Tile Choice Stand.
How can my junior become a Matchday Mascot?

It’s my juniors’ first game at Villa Park – how can we celebrate?

Is there a specific family stand?
There is no specific family stand or area, but all areas of the stadium are family friendly for your visit to the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
Where is the lost child point?
If you have any issues over safety or a lost child please contact your nearest steward immediately. Stewards are located throughout the stadium within each block of seating and will be wearing high visibility jackets.
