Tim Sherwood faced the press following the 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

Check out his views below.

On the flow of the game…

I thought we played well, especially in the first period.

We quietened this crowd. We know how exuberant this crowd can be.

We dominated possession of the football, created a few chances but unfortunately were unable to take them.

They came out in the second half and were the better side. They scored their goal, we managed to wrestle our way back into it.

To lose it with three minutes to go is devastating. I thought we deserved a point.

On their goals…

It's never good to lose any goals in games.

But Palace didn't have to work for those two goals today.

They were poor goals from our point of view.

But on to the next game.

On Traore impact…

You saw a young player who has no fear at all in Traore.

He burst forward and lit it up today in a short period.

I thought it was the right time to put him on. That's what he is capable of.

We know what he possesses. Hopefully those Villa fans can see a lot more of him.

I will make sure he gets the right opportunities at the right times.

On the other positives…

We're glad to have Jack Grealish back as he can unlock the door in between the midfield.

We've just got to look and take the positives.

It's another 90 minutes for the guys - and the new lads as well.

On Amavi mistake…

That's what you will get with young players, unfortunately.

Jordan hasn't made many mistakes since he's been here.

That's one and he will have to learn from it.

We have a lot of good young players. We have added a lot of youth to the squad. Unfortunately you will get ups and downs with young players.

I have been in that boat before, I have seen it. But I know how to develop them.

He made the wrong choice. But you have to learn. He will - he's a good player.
