Angel's representative, Fernando Hidalgo, has met Betis and been told his client is still wanted by the Spaniards, despite noises to the contrary. But Hidalgo has also been made aware that Bayern Munich's Brazilian striker Giovanni Elber is the priority target.

The Old Lady took Nedved's recommendation very seriously and have held talks in the last few weeks with Sparta, after making their own checks on him. Arsenal were also credited with an interest in April this year, after Grygera caught their eye playing for the Czech Republic.
