Bio
Brad Young spent the first half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Scottish club Ayr United before being recalled in January having made 13 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals.
He spent the initial half of 2021/22 on loan at Carlisle United, making 20 appearances for the Cumbrians. Young scored three goals, including one in the FA Cup, and played 14 times in League Two.
The forward displayed his goalscoring prowess during the 2020/21 season, scoring 21 goals across the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2 and FA Youth Cup. The final goal of a fruitful campaign saw him score a penalty as Aston Villa beat Liverpool to lift the Youth Cup.
Young made his senior bow for the club against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round in January 2021, coming on as a substitute.
