Aston Villa can confirm that Joe Gauci has joined Port Vale on a season-long loan.

The Australian international joined Villa in February 2024 from Adelaide United in his homeland, making his Villa debut in the Carabao Cup against Wycombe.

He joined Barnsley on loan last January but his temporary spell at Oakwell was cut short by injury.
