27 February 26
Aston Villa will face LOSC Lille in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.
The draw was made on Friday at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, pitting Unai Emery's side against the Ligue 1 club.
Villa will travel to Stade Pierre-Mauroy for the first leg on Thursday, March 12, with action getting underway at 5.45pm GMT.
Villa Park will then host the second leg a week later on Thursday, March 19, with kick-off set for 8pm in B6.
Tickets for the home leg are now on sale. See the link below for more details…
Villa have a recent history against Lille, having played out a dramatic UEFA Conference League quarter-final in 2024.
A pulsating two legs saw 2-1 home victories in each, with Emery’s side progressing on penalties at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
Lille, who beat Crvena Zvezda 2-1 on aggregate in the play-off round, are currently fifth in Ligue 1.
Friday’s draw saw Villa allocated to the 'orange' side of the bracket, meaning that should Emery's men progress, we would face one of Bologna or Roma in the quarter-finals.
A semi-final versus one of Stuttgart, Porto, Nottingham Forest or Midtjylland would then await in the last four.
