Lucy Parker has been forced to withdraw from England's upcoming UEFA Women's Nations League fixtures after sustaining an ankle injury.
The defender picked up the ailment during a training session with the Lionesses and will return to Aston Villa for assessment and treatment.
The injury comes at an unfortunate time for the 24-year-old who was aiming for a first senior cap.
Lucy also scored her first goal for Villa in our most recent outing, a 4-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
