Karim El Ahmadi, Fabian Delph and Ron Vlaar were the standout performers when the statistics were analysed at the end of the 1-0 win over Chelsea.

Delph drove the team forward time after time and this is reflected in the figures while El Ahmadi did a great deal of the dirty work defensively in the middle of the park.

Vlaar was clearly a rock at the back and the skipper led by example.

Nathan Baker, Leandro Bacuna and Christian Benteke are also worthy of special mention after also impressing in the post-match study.

El Ahmadi, Delph and Bacuna were joint No.1 for ball recoveries with eight.

El Ahmadi was No.1 for tackles with seven successful from nine attempted. Bacuna was No.2 with five successful from eight attempted. Delph was No.3 with four successful from seven attempted. Vlaar was No.4 with three successful from six attempted.

Vlaar and Joe Bennett were No.1 for interceptions with three. El Ahmadi was No.4 with two.

Vlaar was No.1 for blocks with three. Delph and Baker were joint No.2 with one.

Baker was No.1 for clearances with 11 successful from 11 attempted. Vlaar was No.2 with eight successful from eight attempted. Bacuna was No.4 with seven successful from seven attempted.

Delph was No.1 for shots with three in total, two on target and one goal. Benteke was No.2 with five in total and two on target.

Ashley Westwood was No.10 for passes with 30 successful from 38 in total. Delph was No.11 with 29 successful from 34 in total. Eden Hazard was No.1 with 58 successful from 66 in total.

Delph was No.6 for attacking third passes with 12 successful from 14 attempted. Westwood was No.8 with 10 successful from 14 attempted. Hazard was No.1 with 31 successful from 37 in total.

Marc Albrighton was No.1 for chances created with one goal from one chance. Westwood was No.3 with four chances. El Ahmadi was No.5 with two chances.

Delph was No.2 - alongside Benteke - for take-ones with four successful from four attempted.

Benteke was No.1 for aerial duels with 14 won from 22 attempted.

El Ahmadi was No.2 for fouls suffered with two.
