Aston Villa Season Ticket Waiting List Terms and Conditions
Fans of Aston Villa Football Club (“Club”) who are waiting to purchase a Season Ticket for Club home games (“Season Ticket”) will be placed on a waiting list (“Waiting List”) in the order that the Club receives the relevant request. The Waiting List will be managed by the Club in its absolute discretion.
You will be notified by email that you are on the Waiting List when you apply to be on it. It is your responsibility to check that the information in the email regarding your personal information, contact details and Fan ID are correct via your on-line account. You may only make one request annually for information as to where you are on the Waiting List.
By applying to be on the Waiting List you accept the terms and conditions set out herein.
In order for the Club to contact you at the relevant time when you become eligible to purchase a Season Ticket, it is your responsibility to ensure that the Club has your up-to-date contact details. The Club accepts no liability if we are unable to contact you at the relevant time.
Joining the Season Ticket Waiting List does not give you any entitlement for match tickets to Club games.
When you reach the relevant point on the Waiting List, you will be contacted by email along with other supporters in tranches of around five hundred, subject to the number of Season Tickets available, and you will be given the opportunity to purchase a Season Ticket. Within that tranche you will not be prioritised but the number of Season Tickets available will roughly correlate to the number of supporters invited to purchase. The location of seats available cannot be guaranteed, although you will not be limited to any stand which you may have expressed a preference towards. No stand or seat is guaranteed by the Club prior to purchase.
Only the named individual on the Waiting List to whom the email has been sent may purchase the Season Ticket and the offer is not transferable to any other person. Friends and family who may wish to sit together will only be permitted to do so if they are emailed within the same tranche and subject to availability.
The email inviting you to purchase a Season Ticket will indicate the deadline for purchasing a Season Ticket, which is at the Club’s sole discretion. If you do not purchase or are unable to purchase a Season Ticket before the deadline, your offer to purchase will lapse for that Season. You will be entitled to remain on the Waiting List for any opportunities that may arise to purchase Season Tickets in the following Season. If you do not purchase a Season Ticket after being invited to do so on three separate occasions, you will be automatically removed from the Waiting List and will need to reapply to the Club to go back on the Waiting List. In these circumstances you will join the end of the Waiting List.
By purchasing a Season Ticket, you accept the Season Ticket Terms and Conditions in force from time to time.
Should you breach (i) any terms of any other agreement that you may have with the Club or (ii) any Club terms and conditions applicable to you or (iii) if you are, or become subject to, any banning orders whereby you are prohibited from attending football matched, the Club may remove you from the Waiting List. The Club will notify you of this within 30 days of removal.
If you wish to be removed from the Waiting List at any time, then please email ticketsales@avfc.co.uk.
The Club shall not be liable to you whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, or any loss of profit or revenue, loss of use or enjoyment, loss of business or contracts, or loss of opportunity. The aggregate liability to you in connection with these terms and conditions shall not exceed £1.
Notwithstanding these terms and conditions the Club does not seek to limit its liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of its employees, officers or agents.
The Club reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions at any time or to cancel the Waiting List at any time, in its absolute discretion.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to any dispute.
