Aston Villa Women announced the signing of Sabrina D’Angelo in July 2024 following the expiry of her contract at Arsenal.

The Canadian, who spent 18 months with the Gunners, had the honour of competing with her country at the Olympic Games in Paris.

The experienced goalkeeper has enjoyed previous spells with Toronto Lady Lynx, Western New York Flash, North Carolina Courage and Vittsjö GIK.

D'Angelo quickly cemented herself as the Villan's first choice shot stopper as she picked up the number one shirt and featured in every single one of the Villan's games across 24/25.

The 32-year-old helped Villa to a clean sheet in their opening match of the 25/26 campaign away to Brighton & Hove Albion.
