Aston Villa Women announced the permanent signing of Miri Taylor in July 2024.

She put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract with a further option year following a successful loan spell with the club in the second half of the 2023/24 season.

Taylor first joined Villa on a short-term basis from Liverpool, making eight appearances as the team competed in the Women's Super League.

The midfielder settled into the Villa side after joining permanently as she featured 23 times across all competitions in the 24/25 campaign.

Taylor bagged her first goal as a Villan the following campaign as she found the back of the net against Manchester City in a 1-0 victory, securing the team's first-ever win over United.

The 26-year-old pledged her allegiance to Scotland ahead of the November 2025 international break and went on to make her debut on November 28 against Ukraine. 

A fan-favourtie, she put pen-to-paper on a new contract with Villa back in March.
