Lucy Parker joined Aston Villa on a two-year contract with the option of extending for a further year in the summer of 2023.

Born in Cambridge, the 24-year-old spent several years playing and studying in the United States at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Parker returned to the United Kingdom in 2021 and penned her first professional contract with West Ham United.

An injury disrupted Parker's maiden season as a Villan as she was limited to only nine appearances across all competitions.

But the centre back went on to cement herself in the Villa backline the following term as she formed a defensive partnership with Anna Patten.

A fan favourite, the defender put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal ahead of the 2025/26 campaign to extend her stay as a Villan.

Parker helped Villa to an impressive point away to Arsenal in September 2025 as she netted a stoppage time equaliser to help record one of the club's most memorable WSL away days.

Parker as also represented England at youth level as well as being named in the Lionesses senior squad on several occasions over her time as a Villan.
