We announced the permanent signing of Kirsty Hanson in the summer of 2023 following a successful loan spell for the former Manchester United player.

The Scotland international joined ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and became a standout player in the side, scoring eight goals and recording 10 assists in Villa colours.

Hanson continued to be a prominent figure for Villa during the 2023/24 season making a further 22 appearances as she reached 50 in all competitions in the claret and blue.

The powerful forward got off the mark for the 2024/25 season in the side's 2-0 Women's League Cup win over Crystal Palace back in October.

Hanson is also a key figure on the international stage having made over 35 appearances for Scotland in addition to scoring five goals.
