We announced the return of Ebony Salmon to Aston Villa during the 2023 summer transfer window.

The forward re-joined the club from Houston Dash having left back in 2018.

Ebony had enjoyed previous spells with Manchester United, Sheffield United, Bristol City and Racing Louisville.

The striker has a handful of England caps to her name and re-joined the club having began her senior career in claret and blue.

Salmon added to her previous 16 appearances and nine goals for the club during the 2023/24 campaign.

She helped Villa secure their first win of the 23/24 season in November 2023 as she sealed a 2-0 victory away to Bristol City with a goal.

The 24-year-old went on to net a further four goals during her first season back in B6 as she racked up 25 appearancws in all competitions.

Salmon came in clutch again for Villa the following season as she helped the side record their first league win of the 24/25 campaign with an astonishing stoppage time strike in a 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace at Villa Park.
