Bio
Aston Villa announced the signing of Kane Taylor from Manchester City in August 2024.
The Birmingham-born midfielder returned to Villa having previously been in the Academy, joining City in 2019 where he signed a scholarship and proved a regular for the club’s Under-18 and Elite Development squads.
He turned out in each of Villa's final 17 Premier League 2 outings in 2024/25, scoring twice and registering one assist, making a further four appearances in the Vertu Trophy as the Young Lions reached the round of 16.
