Rhys Oakley agreed scholarship terms with Aston Villa ahead of the 2025/26 season.

A goalkeeper, he is a local player who has been at the Academy since the Under-9 age group.

Oakley is strong with the ball at his feet and has a presence with excellent communication skills, working well with his back four as well as being an effective shot stopper.
