Lucas Digne signed for Aston Villa in January 2022, completing a move from Everton. The full-back has shown his defensive and attacking qualities in claret and blue.

Ahead of the 2023/24 season, the Frenchman had racked up nearly 50 appearances for the club. He first ventured into English football when the Toffees signed him in 2018, and he went on to make 127 appearances during his spell at Goodison Park.

Digne has represented some of the biggest clubs in Europe after breaking through at Lille, playing for Barcelona, Roma and Paris Saint Germain. The Frenchman has two Ligue 1 titles, a La Liga title and two Copa del Rey winner's medals among his collection.

At international level, Digne made his senior debut for France in March 2014. He has since been selected for two major tournaments and won the Nations League in 2021.
