Bio
Leon Bailey joined Aston Villa from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2021.
The winger, capable of playing on either flank, caught the eye with some dazzling displays in the Bundesliga in his time at the BayArena, racking up 39 goals in 156 games.
Bailey's debut season at Villa Park included a thunderous first goal in claret and blue during 18 Premier League appearances.
He made a further 33 top-flight appearances in 2022/23, scoring four goals and bagging four assists, before a key contribution in 2023/24, during which he netted 14 goals in 52 games, helped the Villans secure UEFA Champions League football.
Another 38 appearances followed in 2024/25, scoring the crucial opening goal after just three minutes in Villa's Champions League Round of 16 first leg against Club Brugge.
Bailey has also become a key player for the Jamaican national team since making his debut in June 2019.
