Leandro Bacuna was a versatile cog in the claret and blue wheel in 2015/16.
Bacuna, who played consistently throughout the season, was asked to perform in a variety of roles as the campaign continued.
He played as a right back, on the right side of midfield, in central midfield – and even as a centre-half in the final two games against Newcastle and Arsenal.
Bacuna also represented Curacao on the international front, as he took part in the Caribbean Cup.
Bacuna joined Villa in June 2013 on the same day that Jores Okore put pen to paper on a claret and blue deal with the lions.
The Dutchman, who arrived from Groningen, impressed many with his debut season and made a name for himself as a free-kick expert.
The 23-year-old scored his first Premier League goal in September 2013 in the 3-2 home win over Manchester City.
His second goal came from a free kick in the 2-0 victory over Cardiff City.
He continued his scoring run that season with goals against West Brom, Everton and Norwich.
