There are high hopes for Jed Steer at Aston Villa.
He spent the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Huddersfield Town, although he’s seen as very much one for the future for the claret and blues.
Steer went on loan for two months to the Terriers, before returning to us.
However, he went away for another month from November 2015 and then when the winter transfer window opened, he headed to the Championship side again for the remainder of the season.
In total, he played 38 times for the men from the John Smith’s Stadium, after previous temporary spells at Cambridge United, Doncaster Rovers and Yeovil Town.
This term came on the back of a rollercoaster season in 2014/15.
He finally made his Barclays Premier League debut for Villa in the closing match of the top-flight season.
Steer performed confidently and consistently but Villa were undone 1-0 by a very resolute Burnley team, who were looking to end their campaign on a high after being relegated.
Steer joined Villa in July 2013.
