Bio

Harvey Elliott signed for Aston Villa on a season-long loan from Liverpool on the final day of the summer 2025 transfer window.

An attacking midfield player, Elliott was born in Surrey and came through the academy at Fulham, having moved there as a youngster from Queens Park Rangers.

In May 2019, he made his Premier League debut at just 16 years and 30 days old, becoming the youngest-ever player in the competition at the time.

Later that year, he signed for the Reds, initially spending time on loan at Blackburn Rovers, before going onto become a Premier League champion as well as lifting the Carabao Cup in 2022 and 2024.

Internationally, while he is yet to be capped by England at senior level, he has excelled for the Young Lions at Under-21 level for a number of years.

In 2023, he helped Lee Carsley’s side become European Champions, before helping the side retain their crown two years later. In the summer of 2025, he was named Player of the Tournament, scoring England’s first goal of the tournament, both their goals in the semi-final, and their opening goal in the 3-2 final win over Germany.

Despite still being just 22, Elliott carries a wealth of senior experience, having already made close to 200 appearances at club level.
