Joe Hunt says Villa Ladies are relishing a quick return to action as they gear up to face Oxford on Sunday afternoon.
The Coles Lane clash kicks off at 2pm.
The claret and blues suffered a cruel defeat at Everton on Thursday, despite dominating large parts of the contest.
Sunday's Easter Sunday meeting with Oxford means there's little respite, taking their total to three games played in seven days.
The head coach is keen for his side to avenge their opening day loss and earn their first points of the campaign.
He said: "After Thursday's defeat away at Everton we are pleased to have a game so quickly.
"The ladies were slightly stunned that we managed to lose that game, it was hard to take but unfortunately that's what happened.
"At least we can get straight back at it Sunday and hopefully get a positive result.
"On the flip side, I don't see with such a long season ahead in terms of months why we are made to play three games in seven days.
"We didn't arrive back until the early hours of Friday morning not giving us any time to do anything.
"It's literally sleep and rest where possible and get hopefully get some energy back in the legs.
"Everton twice in four days and Oxford at home means it doesn't come much harder but we have a strong squad and will utilise it as much as possible.
"As I've said before we did well on Thursday.
"The return of Sarah Mayling and Kerri Welsh was huge for us but also the return to fitness of Elisha N'Dow.
"I think the rest of the ladies would agree that Lisha has been one of the best performers in pre-season.
"Along with a few others she has really taken her game on and is always looking to be better.
"She's brilliant to have around the group but her desire to do well is having a knock-on effect to the other players.
"We have one or two others available for Sunday as well which will help freshen things up."
Entry to today's match is £5 [adults] and £1 [O65s/U16s] and there will be family fun activities ahead of kick-off.
