Sellars joins Wycombe on loan

Jerell Sellars has joined League Two Wycombe Wanderers on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season.

The forward links up with Gareth Ainsworth's promotion-chasing side, who currently sit eighth, two points below the final play-off place.

He goes straight into the squad to face Mansfield Town on Good Friday and will wear the number 26 shirt during his stay.

The 20-year-old joins Villa goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist, who is also at Adams Park for the remainder of the campaign.

Sellars arrived in B6 from Lincoln City in the summer of 2012 following a successful trial.

His debut campaign as a scholar was very productive as the forward finished the season with 16 goals at U18 level.

He scored on his first senior appearance in a pre-season friendly at Swindon in 2015.

Sellars has regularly found the back of the net for Kevin MacDonald's U21 side this season - most recently netting the winner in last week's 1-0 win over fellow promotion-chasers Arsenal.
