Garde: My views on Sporting Director role - and Brian Little return

Rémi Garde believes it's great that a man who loves the football club, Brian Little, is back to help.

Little has been appointed advisor to the Board.

Garde is happy to see Little return to the club he served so brilliantly as a player and manager.

He said: "I don't know Brian Little personally very well.

"But I have always thought that good players and good managers involved in the football club they love is probably a good thing."

Hendrik Almstadt left his post as Sporting Director this week.

The Club released a statement to say that it would be conducting a thorough review to find a replacement.

Garde insists he's very happy with the role.

He added: "I didn't change my mind.

"To my point, I said when I arrived - because I was questioned then - that I am used to working in this kind of structure. For me, this is not a problem.

"It wouldn't be a problem for me to have a new one."
