Rudy Gestede and Adama Traore back BBC Sport Relief campaign

Rudy Gestede and Adama Traore have been raising awareness of Sport Relief ahead of the big fundraising weekend.

Sport Relief is a BBC event which aims to unite the sporting community in aid of vulnerable people in the UK and abroad.

As part of Comic Relief, Sport Relief takes place every two years, alternating with Red Nose Day.

The Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile takes place on Sunday across the West Midlands.

Hundreds of people from the area have already signed up to run one, three, or six miles, but there's still time to bag a place and do yourself proud.

Our young duo are calling on fans to make a difference.

Gestede said: "We want everyone in Birmingham to get involved.

"All they need to do is sign up for the games and play their part!"

Events are taking place around the Birmingham area.

They include The Birmingham Mile, The Northfield Mile, The North Solihull Sports Centre Swimathon, The Beeches Pool Swimathon and The Fox Hollies Leisure Centre Swimathon.

There's also The Solihull Mile, The Wyndley Swimming Baths Swimathon in Sutton Coldfield and the Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre Swimathon in Aston.

Why not SIGN UP and get involved.
