It's a top of the table clash for our youngsters, who take on Arsenal at Villa Park this evening.

Kick-off in B6 is 7pm tonight.

Villa lie third in the Barclays U21 Premier League Division Two table - two points below the Gunners in second.

That said, Arsenal have played two games more meaning victory is crucial for the Young Lions to strengthen their top two aspirations.

League leaders Derby boast 39 points - five points more than the Gunners with four more games played.

The claret and blues will be hoping for a repeat of the reverse fixture back in December 2015, without the difficult weather conditions.

Jerell Sellars gave Villa a first half lead before Donyell Malen's penalty levelled the scores.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy was the late hero as his goal sealed victory at Boreham Wood's wet and windy Meadow Park.

A week ago, Jordan Lyden's equaliser sealed a point for Villa in a hard-fought meeting with basement side Brighton following Ben White's opener.

Meanwhile, the Gunners recorded victory in their last outing - a comfortable 3-0 win over fellow Londoners Fulham.

Kaylen Hinds opened the scoring before Marc Bola's first goal of the season doubled Steve Gatting side's advantage.

Stephy Mavididi sealed the win minutes before the break to make it seven games without defeat for tonight's opponents.

Entry this evening is free for season ticket holders providing they show their season cards.

Otherwise, tickets cost £2 [adults] and £1 [U18s].

They can be purchased from the Trinity Road ticket kiosk from 5.30pm onwards.
