Rémi Garde is eyeing momentum as Villa face Liverpool this coming weekend.

Villa face the Reds on Sunday with a 2.05pm kick-off.

Garde's men defeated Norwich 2-0 in the previous fixture, leaving us eight points from safety.

He knows that another home victory would give everyone of claret and blue persuasion added belief that the survival fight is one we can win.

Garde hailed the home crowd for the way they drove the team on against the Canaries - and he wants the same again as Jürgen Klopp's side arrive in B6.

Be here to cheer on the team as we strive for another three point haul.

Prices are £27 to £45 [adults], £27 to £45 [concessions], £20 to £45 [U18s], £17 to £45 [U8s] and £40 to £45 for adult/junior [U18 combo ticket].

They are on sale to supporters with an Aston Villa booking history.

Tickets for this match are sold strictly on a one ticket per client reference number basis subject to the above sales criteria.

Maximum of six tickets can be purchased per transaction.

To buy tickets, contact 0333 323 1874, visit the Ticket Offices at Villa Park and New Street or BUY ONLINE.

Alan Hutton is back in training and in contention for the weekend clash with Liverpool.

Hutton has missed two games against Wycombe and matches against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, West Brom, Man City, West Ham and Norwich.

But he returned to the fields of Bodymoor Heath this week and will look to put himself in Rémi Garde's plans.

Jack Grealish is out of the game on Sunday after injuring his ankle in training on Wednesday.

The boss is hopeful of having him available for the trip to Stoke.

Carlos Sanchez and Rudy Gestede, meanwhile, will be assessed in the coming days ahead of the encounter with Jürgen Klopp's men.

Meanwhile, for Liverpool, Joe Allen will miss the game due to a shoulder injury, while Dejan Lovren is still struggling with a muscle problem and Martin Skrtel is yet to resume full training.

Steven Caulker has shrugged off a back complaint, however, while Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho are all set to be involved after featuring against West Ham.

Rémi Garde

It's very difficult, of course because they have quality and quantity for forward players.

They play good football, attacking football and then it will be up to us to defend very well, better than we did against Norwich.

I would say Villa Park is important for us - but in our situation playing a home game or away game is nearly equal.

What we need is points. Anywhere we can get them from will be good points.

Jürgen Klopp

You can say they have nothing to lose anymore but they have to win the games and take the risks.

Of course, it's not a coincidence that we are in ninth place and they are in this place.

You have to avoid a few things and you have to use a few things, that's how it is.

That's how you prepare for a game, and of course, it is not our thing to think about Aston's Villa's targets for this game.

We have to be strong and have our own targets. We have to do everything to reach them.

It's always difficult at Aston Villa but don't forget it's difficult for Aston Villa to win against us if we are good.

That's the first thing we have to show and if we show this then we can win.

Aly Cissokho

It is going to be a tough match for us because they have good players like Coutinho, Lallana, Henderson, Milner - many good players.

They have big options on the bench as well.

We have to be focused on the game and we need points.

We will play for a win.

James Milner

With Philippe Coutinho, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge there's a lot of pace there, a lot of ability and goals.

We are creating chances at the moment but they aren't quite going in so to have those three back should help that.

That's been the frustrating part of this season but the young boys have stepped up and to have Studge, Phil and Divock back is a massive plus for us.

We are unbeaten in our last four Premier League games at Villa Park (W2 D2 L0) - we haven't gone five unbeaten at home in the competition since New Year's Day 2015.

Christian Benteke scored five goals in six appearances in all competitions against Liverpool for us before moving to Merseyside this summer.

Christian Benteke is two goals away from netting 50 in the Premier League (currently 48).

Liverpool have been leading at half-time in just three of their 25 Premier League games this season - a joint-league-low alongside Sunderland.

The Reds have conceded a joint-league-high eight goals from corners this season in the Premier League - two more than they conceded in the whole of 2014/15 (6).

A league-high 70% (14 of 20) of our goals in the Premier League this season have come in the second half.
