Alan Hutton is back in training and in contention for the weekend clash with Liverpool.
We face the Reds on Sunday, with a 2.05pm kick-off.
Hutton [picture today above] has missed two games against Wycombe and matches against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, West Brom, Man City, West Ham and Norwich.
But he returned to the fields of Bodymoor Heath this week and will look to put himself in Rémi Garde's plans.
Jack Grealish is out of the game on Sunday after injuring his ankle in training on Wednesday.
The boss is hopeful of having him available for the trip to Stoke.
Carlos Sanchez and Rudy Gestede, meanwhile, will be assessed in the coming days ahead of the encounter with Jurgen Klopp's men.
Sanchez came off in the home clash with West Ham on Boxing Day and then subsequently missed games against Norwich, Sunderland, Wycombe, Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
The midfielder started the Wycombe replay but had to be replaced due to a reoccurrence of the original troublesome issue.
He has since missed games against Albion, City, the Hammers and the Canaries.
Gestede injured his hamstring against the Baggies at The Hawthorns after coming on as a substitute and has been absent since.
Libor Kozak [ankle], Adama Traore [foot] and Jordan Amavi [knee] all remain out.
