Rémi Garde accepts he's a different character to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who he comes up against this weekend - but says that doesn't stop him being a fan of the animated German boss.
Garde is a quiet, reserved manager on the touchline while Klopp is renowned for his energetic and vibrant style.
Our gaffer likes that Klopp stays true to his own personality.
He said: "He's a good manager, probably a different style from myself.
"I'm quite supportive and a fan of these kind of people. He seems genuine and I like that.
"I don't like people who play roles. I like that he seems so real.
"I'm not playing a role either, I'm not an actor. I'd be very bad, probably.
"He's living the game. He shows different stuff outside but, as you can guess, I'm not completely calm when I'm living a game.
"But I try to concentrate on the match and, of course, I've got a lot of emotions but this is the way I live."
Garde is also a fan of Klopp's team on the pitch, as he looks to find the right solutions to defeat the Reds this weekend.
He added: "This is a tremendous club with big qualities in the squad.
"They have so many choices up front - with players possessing different strengths.
"I think it's a very tough opposition for us. It's going to be very difficult.
"We know the Jurgen Klopp attitude is to press his opponent.
"We will try to exploit this. Before you do that, of course, you have to resist it."
