Aly Cissokho was all-smiles as he reacted to our 2-0 weekend win over Norwich, insisting: "We got the job done."
Cissokho was part of a strong back four that kept a B6 clean sheet against the Canaries, defending strongly alongside Jores Okore, Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott.
Cissokho was a happy man on the final whistle as he reacted to a vital three point haul as we look to win our survival fight this season.
He said: "We are very happy. I think we did the job.
"There's still a long way to go. But getting the three points was very important for us.
"It gives us plenty of confidence now heading into the final 13 games of the season.
"We were very pleased with this game. We scored twice. We kept a clean sheet. It was a good day.
"Joleon scored a good goal. It was the same again like Palace. It was a fine goal.
"Then it was a good goal from Gabby - a fine finish, which gave us that cushion.
"Overall, we showed solidarity at the back. It's always good for the four defenders to get the clean sheet. We managed that and I think we did a good defensive job.
"Now we will rest up, recover and then begin preparations for another Villa Park game, this time against Liverpool."
