On the result…

In that respect, I am a little bit disappointed because in our situation we need more than one point.

We tried very hard, especially in the second half.

But when you don't score a goal you don't deserve to win, for sure.

On the first half penalty shout…

I don't know - maybe, maybe not.

It was not so obvious. Sometimes you have. Sometimes you don't.

This is down to the ref, which I respect.

On the performance overall…

It was encouraging and frustrating.

We are bottom of the league. But I wouldn't say every week - but many games we have played I didn't feel we were so far away from our opponent.

It's frustrating for the players too.

On the improvements…

If you look at the way we played today in terms of collective spirit, it was much, much better than a few weeks ago.

In terms of quality in the second half, it was very good.

We had the ball many times in their half, passing the ball very well.

But in the final third we have too many difficulties to score goals.

On Rudy Gestede coming off…

It is a hamstring injury but I don't know yet how bad it is.

On the reaction of fans…

I think they saw a team who fight and had spirit.

I just regret we started the season very late. Now it's more difficult.

But I told my players that if we keep playing with this spirit until the end of the season, everything is still possible.

On the strides made since the game at Wycombe…

In the FA Cup sometimes it's very different to play away.

It's a lower division and the pitch is not the same.

The team that played today was not the same as well.

I know the last three Premier League games in terms of spirit and quality of football - but mainly spirit - I know I can rely on these players.

On the improvements since he arrived…

It's a late step.

But when you arrive in a football club it takes you time to know people and to assess their quality as a footballer and as a human.
