Rémi Garde is relishing the "special" atmosphere of derby day as we take on West Brom - as he called for passion and pride from his players.
Garde says he has great respect for the Baggies but believes strongly that his claret and blue troops can collect three points from The Hawthorns.
He accepts it's vital for bragging rights - but also as our survival bid continues.
He said: "I know a lot about derbies - English derbies as well because when I played for Arsenal I knew that playing against Tottenham was very special.
"In France, the game between Lyon and Saint Etienne is a huge derby.
"I was involved in these games as a player and manager.
"I like these kind of games because I know that for the players it's very special because it's different before the match.
"I expect my players to show the same character and determination as we have over the past few weeks.
"There are only 16 games to go. For us we have no time to waste.
"We respect West Brom a lot, of course, because they're in a better position than us.
"They're playing a home game but we're going to try and build - and try to keep the momentum we have currently.
"We are professional. We have pride. The players are proud to wear the shirt.
"Sometimes in football you're in a very difficult situation - and this is where you see who is a man and who is not a man.
"We're professionals. I am professional. I love this football club, the league we're playing in and I love the job, even if it's very difficult.
"It's a passion for me. I try to transmit this to my players. I have the feeling more and more players in my team receive this message."
