Rémi Garde has called on his players to show pride and passion as they look to make it through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
We face Wycombe in B6 tonight, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Garde is considering his playing options for the replay clash but says that whoever starts must show the necessary fight and heart for the claret and blue shirt.
The manager has decisions to make - he wants to keep the momentum going with a win but he also has one eye on the vital West Brom clash at the weekend as we hunt urgent top-flight points.
He said: "We are going to try, of course, to go through in this competition.
"We know it will not be easy. Wycombe will have a good attitude - nothing to lose.
"We have picked up four points from a possible six points, including against the leader. It's not been a bad week but now we look for another good result.
"I haven't got a very deep squad at the moment, for many reasons. I would like to keep the momentum we are in currently but, then, we are going to have a very difficult game away at West Brom at the end of the week.
"I will see how the players have recovered over the last two games.
"But I know the FA Cup is very important. I have known that for a long time.
"I want the best run in this competition for everyone at the club, especially with how we did last time.
"I will see. I will do the best for the club and the players.
"Every player I pick for this game should show they are professional players performing for a Premier League club.
"I will also rely on their professionalism and their pride to wear the Villa shirt."
