A professional showing saw us progress to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Second half goals for Ciaran Clark and Idrissa Gana's first in claret and blue sealed victory for Rémi Garde's men.

The Chairboys carved the better openings in a relatively even first 45 minutes.

Sam Wood's first time effort was well saved by Brad Guzan and Garry Thompson's header edged over the bar.

In the second period, we were more controlled in our play - with Scott Sinclair's runs in particular forcing our opponents into last-ditch tackles and interventions.

Clark calmed claret and blue nerves when he headed home Ashley Westwood's cross with 15 minutes remaining.

Garde's side then made the most of the space as Wycombe chased the game and a neat move involving Sinclair and Rudy Gestede ended with Gana, a second half substitute, side footing into the bottom corner.

Now we face a tie against Man City in B6.
