Jores Okore wants more of the same following Villa's first home win of the 2015/16 season against Crystal Palace.
The centre-back partnered Joleon Lescott in the heart of defence and both were standout performers on the night.
Okore, who missed the opening months of the campaign recovering from knee surgery, was pleased with the overall showing and performance levels of the team.
He also singled out goalkeeper Mark Bunn for praise after the former Norwich man made his league debut for the claret and blues.
He told AVTV HD: "I think everybody showed belief, we fought and played really well and I think we deserved to win.
"It's been a long time since we had a clean sheet so it was nice.
"A clean sheet always gets you a point but we scored at the other end too.
"I'm really happy. It's nice for me, the team and the defence to have a clean sheet and for Bunny also.
"It was his first start in a long time in the Premier League.
"It was nice for him that he got a clean sheet in his first game in a while.
"Everybody showed they want to stay in the team and perform and I hope everybody can maintain these kind of performances and get some more wins."
Attentions now turn to Saturday's visit of high-flying Leicester in Saturday's late kick-off.
And, as the lads step up their preparations for the Foxes clash on the Bodymoor training fields, Okore hopes Tuesday evening's showing can set the tone for the Midlands match.
He added: "Hopefully we can ride on this wave that we're on now and perform really well and go out there and win.
"We need to go out there perform and believe in ourselves every weekend.
"Against Palace it paid off and hopefully we can carry that on until the end of the season."
