Villa in the Community is looking for a fundraising and partnerships executive.
The club's new charity is recruiting for a dedicated hardworking individual to help with its continuing growth.
Key aspects of the role are to source public and third sector funding streams for Villa in the Community and, as such, strong bid writing capability is a requirement.
In addition, you must have good partner development experience in order to help the charity identify and develop new partnership opportunities.
You will also be required to manage projects both operationally and financially as determined by the Head of Villa in the Community.
Monitoring and evaluation is an important component of our work and you will be asked to play a key role in maintaining and sourcing analytical data from our online monitoring and evaluation software.
The individual will be asked to initiate dialogue with potential funding partners both private and public sector as well as generate revenue through partnerships that fall in line with the club's values and principles.
The individual will also be tasked to identify funding streams and acquire funds to support the CSR objectives of the charity.
In order to succeed in this role the person must have:
Strong bid writing capability
Experience in business development and successful partner and relationship management
University degree and/or 3-4 years of experience corporate CSR/ Charity sector
Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation would be an asset
Pleasant demeanour that will serve them well in representing the charity/club when meeting external stakeholders
Desire to make a difference in the community, be a committed team player and be results orientated.
