Jores Okore has hailed the lethal training form of Darren Bent.
Villa's first team are in the second week of their pre-season schedule at present.
Okore and Bent are both back at Bodymoor after a spell away from claret and blue action - Okore with a long-term knee injury and Bent on a season-long loan at Fulham.
Okore has come back refreshed and has immediately spoken of his admiration for clinical Bent.
He said: "Darren is a great player. He's an attacker. He knows how to score goals.
"You can see that in training - he scores a lot of goals.
"Of course, he's back now and he will sharpen the attackers."
Okore believes Villa are blessed in the forward line - when everyone is fit.
Christian Benteke [achilles] and Libor Kozak [leg] are both casualties at present after suffering big injuries in the previous campaign.
But the lethal pair still hope to make a big impact this term.
He added: "I think last season we were a little bit unlucky in that we had a lot of injuries in that forward positon - Libor and Christian. They had some long-term injuries.
"So when they come back, we will look strong with a lot of different players available.
"We will have quality in the team and quality on the bench.
"When everyone is back, that's what I am looking forward to."
