CEO Faulkner elected on to FA Council for a third time

Paul Faulkner has been elected for a third time onto the FA Council, the body which discusses and determines major policies of The Football Association.

Villa's Chief Executive was selected again by other Premier League clubs to remain on the Council which consists of 92 elected representatives from the FA Premier League, the Football League, County FAs and the non-executive board of The FA.

"I'm proud on behalf of Aston Villa to continue to contribute to the FA Council and to assist in its efforts to deliver effective administration of the game in this country," Faulkner said.

He will also continue to represent the Premier League on the FA Board in the absence of Premier League chairman Anthony Fry, who is recovering from illness, and the Professional Game Board (PGB).
