It was a miserable afternoon at White Hart Lane as Villa went down 3-0 at Tottenham on the final day of the season - but Fabian Delph came out of it with credit.

Delph was undoubtedly the standout star in claret and blue during the 90 minutes, as he has been during the term as a whole.

And that assessment was backed up when the post-match statistics were analysed on the final whistle.

Delph was No.4 for shots with two in total and one on target.

Delph was No.3 for passes with 59 successful from 67 attempted. Ashley Westwood was No.5 with 49 successful from 63 attempted.

Delph was No.1 for attacking third passes with 25 successful from 30 attempted. Ryan Bertrand was No.3 for 15 successful from 18 attempted. Westwood was No.4 with 14 successful from 25 attempted. Karim El Ahmadi was No.5 with 14 successful from 19 attempted.

Gabby Agbonlahor was No.3 for chances created with one.

Delph was No.1 for take-ons with two successful from three attempted.

Ron Vlaar was No.1 for ball recoveries with eight, alongside Westwood. Delph was No.4 with five.

Delph was No.1 for tackles with three successful from four attempted, alongside El Ahmadi. Westwood was No.5 with two successful from four attempted.

Vlaar was No.1 for interceptions with seven. Leandro Bacuna was No.2 with four.

Delph was No.1 for blocks with one, alongside Nathan Baker.

Baker was No.2 for clearances with seven successful from seven attempted. Vlaar was No.4 with four successful from four attempted. Delph was No.5 with three successful from three attempted.

Vlaar was No.4 for aerial duels with two successful from three attempted.

Delph was No.1 for fouls suffered with two, alongside Agbonlahor.
