Paul Lambert could well be without Joe Bennett as Villa head to Swansea.
Villa face the Swans at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, with a 3pm kick-off.
Bennett is a doubt after injuring his ankle in training this week.
It's another setback for the left-back, who has had a stop-start season with niggling problems.
He had a major back injury in the opening few months before suffering tendinitis in his knee.
Now he will miss the trip to Wales.
On the positive note, Leandro Bacuna, suffering with a hamstring problem in the run-up to Southampton, has not felt any ill-effects from the clash with the Saints.
Lambert said: "Everyone pretty much seems fine from last time.
"Unfortunately, Joe hurt his ankle so he's probably a doubt for the Swansea match.
"But everyone else seems fine."
Villa have no issue at left-back, though, with Ryan Bertrand one of the standout players in the Saints draw on Saturday.
Lambert has been impressed with the on-loan Chelsea star, who has undoubtedly added quality to the defensive ranks.
Lambert added: "Ryan has done great.
"We have given him that opportunity. It's a two way thing. He's done great for us too."
